London, Baby!! (April 20-25, 2024)
The kids had eleven days off from school for an extended spring break, since the Royal School is technically a year-round school (sorry, kids). We decided we could take one last trip, and Claire suggested London! Claireās mom was able to fly over the Atlantic and meet us in London, so our two bedroom London flat in Battersea had just enough room for all of us. Since Claire was ready to entertain her mom with all the plans she made, Max, Scott, and I enjoyed making our way around London without an agenda. We did book a river cruise from Westminster to Greenwich to get the gist of the cityās neighborhoods and attractions, but other than that, we let our whims of hunger and curiosity lead us. My absolute favorite meal in London was served on our last night at an East African restaurant in Battersea called Magan Restaurant. HOLY MOLY.
We spent the rest of our spring break in Bucharest and Sibiu (see this blog post) before coming back home to Cluj before the kids had to get back to school.
Enjoy some photos of our London trip below!
